FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

As the HUD-designated lead agency, we serve as the collaborative applicant for federal funding requests for our Continuum of Care. Below you’ll find information about each of the opportunities to apply for organizational and programmatic funding.

NOFO UPDATES

  • Threshold CoC has posted the CoC Board-approved Priority Listing and CoC Application for the FY 2024 HUD CoC Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).  Threshold intends to submit the official application to HUD on Wednesday, 10/30/24 prior to the 8pm EDT deadline.

  • Threshold CoC (formerly known as the Metro Area Continuum of Care for the Homeless, or MACCH, now dba as Threshold CoC) announces that our Board of Directors officially approved the final ranking and tiering of projects for the FY 2024-2025 HUD CoC Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) on 10/9/2024.  You will find the final ranking of all projects here, as required by the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD).  This serves as official public posting of all projects accepted, rejected and reallocated for the FY2024-2025 NOFO competition.  You will also find an official letter from Threshold CoC listing all accepted, rejected, and reallocated linked here.

  • This is notification that Threshold CoC is officially soliciting for NEW Project proposals for the FY 2024 HUD CoC Program Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Project proposals are due to Threshold CoC by 5pm on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. 

    Proposals must be emailed to Lisa Vukov, Director of Programs & Compliance, at lisa@thresholdcoc.org.  Please see below for instructions on submitting proposals.

    Threshold CoC is soliciting new project proposals under both the CoC Bonus and the DV Bonus.  Preliminary funding amounts available for both are as follows:

    • CoC Bonus: $762,926

    • DV Bonus: $953,657

    The following proposal types are being considered for the CoC Bonus in FY 2024:

    • Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)

    • Rapid Rehousing (RRH)

    • Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing (TH-RRH)

    The following proposal types are being considered for the DV Bonus in FY 2024:

    • Rapid Rehousing (RRH)

    • Joint Transitional Housing and Rapid Rehousing (TH-RRH)

    Agencies interested in applying must submit the following documents by the 5pm deadline on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024:

    Please find: 2024 New and Reallocated Project Scorecard which will be utilized by the Independent Review Committee (IRC) in their review and selection of projects to move forward in the competition. This is included for your awareness of the scoring criteria that will be applied to applications. The IRC and Threshold CoC may consider moving forward multiple projects per type (CoC Bonus and DV Bonus).  Click here for the FY 2024 NOFO Timeline.

  • Threshold CoC will be holding our annual CoC program NoFo Webinar in partnership with DMA on:

    THURSDAY, AUGUST 15 FROM 11 AM-12:30 PM.

    • This webinar is a requirement for all current CoC Program grantees and any organization considering applying for new supportive housing projects under the CoC Program NOFO. 

    • This webinar will cover not only details directly from HUD on the new 2-year NOFO process, but will also focus on how our local competition will take place.
