Our team

Our staff and board are committed to the work of preventing homelessness in Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties. We work with organizations across the metropolitan area to connect people to lifesaving housing resources and train others on best practices when serving our unhoused neighbors.

    Jason Feldhaus has been the Executive Director of Threshold CoC since June of 2022. He comes to Threshold CoC with over 20 years of human service experience. Jason’s previous position was with Nebraska Children and Families Foundation (NCFF) where he oversaw the Connected Youth Initiative, worked on the 2019 flood recovery, and developed the statewide Emergency Rental Assistance Program in partnership with NIFA. Jason is a graduate of Roncalli Catholic High School, a Creighton University alum, and a lifelong Omaha resident. He is married to Adrienne and they have three children, Riley, Addison, and Peyton.

    As a seasoned nonprofit professional, Heather has done everything from program development, strategic planning, fundraising, and community collaboration. She joined Threshold CoC as the Director of Operations in 2022. Her focus since joining the team has been the oversight of daily operations and creating efficiencies. However her true passion is developing the talent of others by creating strong relationships and elevating performance and outcomes. She likes spending time in nature in her free time.

    Jane came to Threshold CoC from working in community outreach and prevention services over the last decade while studying interdisciplinary strategies affecting social change. With a passion for finding patterns and potential in complex systems, she works to develop and implement the overall strategy of the CoC. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying (hopelessly) to keep up with her huskies, and growing the garden.

    Cynthia serves as the Coordinated Entry Manager at Threshold CoC. She joined our team in May 2020, as an independent contractor during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and transitioned to a permanent role in January 2021. She uses her skills, talents, and experience to assist and support the agencies that serve our unhoused neighbors. Cynthia’s faith, her kitties Luna and Lucy, reading, and the mountains bring her joy.

    Taylor’s personal experience with housing instability and homelessness as a youth drives her passion for activism, advocacy, and justice. She promotes meaningful involvement of people with lived experience in the creation and implementation of solutions. Taylor continues to find and create spaces where folx who have a perspective with housing insecurity they can utilize as expertise to create change. Taylor is passionate about building bridges in the community and fostering collaborative environments that bring folx together.

    Pete’s experience began in Seattle, WA working with individuals experiencing homelessness and behavioral health crises. On moving to Omaha, he became a founding member of what would become our coordinated Street Outreach efforts. Pete was also instrumental in building community connections, including government leaders, law enforcement, and local neighborhood and business associations. In addition to his work with Street Outreach, Pete’s experience also includes serving as a housing stability specialist with Heartland Family Service, working as a community health worker at Charles Drew Health Center, and most recently, as manager of housing programming and street outreach services at Together.
